Arabella is a writer and award-winning director from London and founder of film production company W4 Films.


Arabella’s feature debut is British coming of age dramedy GREY MATTER, starring Stephanie Beacham (DYNASTY) Elizabeth Berrington (LAST NIGHT IN SOHO) Eloise Smyth (HARLOTS) Harry Kirton (PEAKY BLINDERS) Nigel Boyle (LINE OF DUTY) Paul Brennen (ALIEN 3) Kierston Wareing (FISHTANK) and Sunetra Sarker (CASUALTY).  The film premiered at Female Eye Film Festival, Toronto where she won Best Foreign Debut award. It went onto screen at RIFFA nominated for Best International Feature, Naples International Film Festival, Florida and London Film Week.

She is currently in post-production on original music drama DRAGGED UP DIRTY, starring Michelle Ryan (BIONIC WOMAN), Arifin Putra (RAID 2), Junior Andre, Kierston Wareing (FISHTANK) and Nick Moran (HARRY POTTER).


Arabella directed the short film, FRAILTY BE THY NAME, a dark female-led psychological thriller based on Hamlet. Written by TV writer Holly Lyons the film explores what it’s like for Gigi to be trapped in a dangerous marriage with an Italian mobster. The film stars Amy Newton (ROLLER SQUAD) and theatre actor Gwilym Lloyd. She also directed romantic comedy short A GENTLE PUSH starring Ross O’Donnellan (BELFAST) and Charlie Maher (CONVERSATION WITH FRIENDS) which was a New York Film Awards Semi-Finalist and finalist for Best Film at London Independent Story Price. It also screened at British International Film Festival, Edinburgh Film Fest International and St Patricks Day Film Festival. She is currently in post-production on drama ORIGAMI starring and written by Abigail Stone.


Arabella wrote family dance drama movie screenplay HEART OF HOPE starring Sean Knopp (DOCTOR WHO) Jessica Brown Findlay (DOWNTON ABBEY) and Linda Jean Barry (NO PLACE LIKE HOLMES). The film follows a 7 year old girl who has ambitions to be a ballerina but suffers with a severe heart condition and is put on a transplant waiting list. The film was distributed across North America by Gravitas Ventures in 2021.


She has also directed a range of commercials including WELCOME TO YOUR NEW HQ for Slack’s global TV campaign during the pandemic. Her work also includes branded documentary shorts such as ARTISAN BAGPIPE MAKERS for digital which was commissioned by Business Insider which received over a million views.
